For this reason new treatments which are effective  and saving lives make a difference in providing a cure for all variations.

WHAT IS CANCER?

Cancer is a disease known for its uncontrollable growth and spread of abnormal, mutated cells. This is mainly because of a mutation in the DNA; it can also be influenced by heredity and lifestyle choices. Since they contain normal DNA cells, our body does not see the cells as a threat or can distinguish healthy cells compared to cancer cells, and because there is such a variation we have not been able to find a cure. However, things such as chemotherapy, radiation, surgery and various other treatments have been able to control the rapid division of these abnormal cells.

CANCER & TREATMENT DEVELOPMENT

Over the course of the years, "Cancer [has been] the second most common cause of death in the US, exceeded only by heart disease, and accounts for nearly 1 of every 4 deaths." Along with the fact, cancer varies in each case from gender,  type of cancer, and even race, making cancer even harder to target and cure. For this reason, the world of science has created many new and personalized innovative treatments and equipment in order to keep up and prevent much death.
